This is a gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche skirt suit from Spring/Summer 1987. It has a double breasted black tuxedo style jacket with black wool pencil skirt.

This YSL jacket has a very exaggerated pointed collar with beautiful silk satin lapels. The jacket is double breasted with extra large black textured buttons. There are flap pockets that are sewn closed. The sleeves have the same button closure at the cuffs and shoulder pads to structure the jacket.

The skirt has a thin waistband with a side metal zipper and metal snap closure with wide hook and eye. The front of the skirt has shallow front slit pockets. The back of the skirt has a kick pleat and is fully lined. The jacket is fully lined as well. Made of 100% Wool with 100% Acetate lining.

Labeled Saint Laurent, Made in France.
